Swinburne Centre for Social Impact: Health Equity
In 2020 Think in Colour collaborated with Swinburne Centre for Social Impact on this short explainer video as an overview of their Health Equity Evidence and Practice Summary. We also supported the team with live graphic recording at the forum where the summary was launched, creating a beautiful visual cohesion that was accessible and engaging.
This Australian Research Council Linkage project, in partnership with Victorian Health Promotion Foundation (VicHealth), Social Traders, and the Foundation for Young Australians, investigates how social enterprises affect the social determinants of health (SDOH) equities for young people experiencing disadvantage. The findings show that Work Integration Social Enterprise (WISE) models have a positive influence on SDOH equity for young people, particularly at the level of individual behaviours and daily living, and on intermediating conditions such as social and professional relationships.
